Engine Panel.
The old engine panel was 20 years old, cracking at the edges and faded. In addition, the owner wanted to move the engine key inside the boat to make room for two new gauges. He measured the panel and drew out the placement on paper. I created the wood template seen below to make sure everything fit properly. He made a couple adjustments for one of the guages and added some depth. The result is seen in photo3-5. The final version is made of black Starboard, a typical marine material. The white accents are recessed and painted with Rustoleum. The new engine panel fit perfectly.
